A ceremony to provide social pension for three months and additional cash assistance to elderly people over 85-year old was held at Minglar Taung Nyunt Township General Administration Department yesterday afternoon.

At the ceremony, MP U Hla Htay of No.1 Constituency of Regional Hluttaw and Township Adminstrator U Aung Win provided K 60,000 each including K 30,000 of social pension for April, May and June and K 30,000 of additional cash assistance to a total of 506 elderly people in 20 Wards in the township via Ward Administrators. The Ward Administrators and officials will make a domiciliary visit to provide cash assistance to the elderly.
