Officials from Department of Disaster Management and respective village administrators provided cash aids and relief items to the storm victims in villages in Thabaung Township, Ayeyawady Region yesterday afternoon.

The strong winds hit Thabaung Township on 19 June and two houses in the villages collapsed due to the strong winds. Therefore, the officials provided K 210,500 for food and building materials and rescue kits with 16 items to the family members of the two households.
