Two men were killed and one other injured in a landslide in Mogok Township, Mandalay Region, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
    

Three men including Raja aka Yarchi, 34, a mason were digging up a mountain cliff measuring 15 ft. high in order to build a house in the compound of a man named Ohn Bahadu, 35 from Kathe Gogon Ward, Mogok Township at around 10 a.m. on 19 June. Two men were pronounced dead on the spot and another man identified as U Soe Tint, 52, was hurt in the landslide.
    

The local police launched an investigation into the cause of landslide and action is being taken against the two masons over the incident.
