Officials from Myeik District Department of Social Welfare and Township departmental personnel made a domiciliary visit to provide social pension for April, May and June and K 30,000 of COVID-19 cash aids to elderly people over 85 years old in Taninthayi Township starting from this morning.

The officials donated K 60,000 including social pension and additional cash aids to a Presiding Sayadaw of Chaunggyi Monastery. Then, the elderly people in two wards and nursing home were given social pension and additional cash aids. Other elderly people in remaining villages will be provided with cash aids via respective village-tract administrators.
