Seven Basic Education Schools in Yenangyaung Township, Magway Region will be upgraded in 2020-2021 academic year in line with the standardization of the Department of Basic Education, according to Township Education Officer’s Office.

Basic Education Middle School in Thonesaechauk and Konethaung villages will be promoted to high school (Branch), middle school (Branch) in Pinwa village will be upgraded to high school, post-primary schools in Shwetokekan and Se villages will be middle schools, primary schools in Yoneseik (North) and Sankangyi villages will become post-primary schools.
