Officials from Thanbyuzayat Township Department of Rural Development oversaw the water supply projects undertaking in Ankhae village, Thanbyuzayat Township, Mawlamyine District, Mon State this morning.

The officials, local community leaders and responsible people from company inspected the completion of the project and the officials from the Department of Rural Development gave instruction to the needs of the project. 

The installation of water pipeline and construction of a water plant are being undertaken with 5.85 million allocated by funds of State Government in 2019-2020 FY by Silver Wall Company. The project is being started on 8 May and now it has been completed. Upon completion, a total of 2799 people from 427 households will be available drinking water in all seasons.

With the aim of distributing drinking water to local people in all seasons, digging tube wells and other water supply projects are being undertaken in villages in Thanbyuzayat Township, Mawlamyine District, Mon State.
