A ceremony to provide relief items to victims of powerful wind in Thakhutkon Ward was held at the meeting room of General Administration Department in Tharrawaddy Township, Bago Region this morning.

Officials from Monyo Township Department of Social Welfare made a domiciliary visit to provide relief items to victims of strong wind in Thakhuatkon Village, and handed over K 156300 and rescue kit box with 16 items to them.

The powerful wind hit Thakhuatkon Village in Tharrawaddy Township on 6 June and destroyed two houses.
