With the aim of distributing purified drinking water to rural people in Mrauk-U Township, officials from Township Department of Rural Department is undertaking water supply projects in the township.

The water supply projects undertaking in the township were inspected by officials from the Township Department on 5 July. 

The projects are being undertaken by Royal Sea View Company with allotted funds of Rakhine Government in three villages. Now, it has been completed by nearly 100 percent so that the officials made a field trip whether the projects meet the set standard or not. 

The Township Department of Rural Development has been undertaking 14 water supply projects in 14 villages in the township in 2019-2020 fiscal year. Upon completion, a total of 9573 people from 1861 households in the villages will be available enough drinking water in all seasons.
