A landslide occurred on the Chipwe-Waingmaw Road about one mile from Chipwe Township, Kachin State this morning following incessant rains in the area.
    

Staff from the Department of Road under the Ministry of Construction rushed to the scene of landslide and cleared off the debris with the use of heavy machinery in order to facilitate people travel in a convenient manner.
    

No casualties were reported in the incident and landslides often occur near the road section in rainy season, said a local.—Nan Myint/Zin Mar Win
