The Waingmaw-Sadon-Kanpeiktee Road was blocked by massive boulders following the landslide after heavy rains swept through the area on 19 July.
    

The incessant rains caused two landslides on the Waingmaw-Sadon-Kanpeiktee Road and a group of local authorities consisting of policemen, firefighters, security personnel, and residents led by Township Administrator U Min Min Latt reportedly cleared off the debris by using two bulldozers.
    

The heavy rains resulted in the temporary suspension of operation of passenger buses and trucks on the road.—Kyaw Naing Htay (IPRD)
