The township Department of Immigration and Population conducted the collective granting of Identity (ID) cards to local people in Aungthardan Village, Hnogonthar Village, Thamaseikta Village and Tunsein Village in Thongwa Towship, Yangon Region yesterday.
Personnel from the township Department of Immigration and Population issued ID cards to over 200 local people above 18 years old in the township in accordance with rules released by the Ministry of Labor, Immigration and Population.
The collective granting of ID cards to local people was jointly conducted by the township General Administration Department, the township election sub-commission, the Township Department of Immigration and Population, the township Department of Health and village administrators, according to an official from the Township Department of Immigration and Population.
