A ceremony to open a school, donated by the Tatmadaw, was held at the compound of the school in Letpanwe Village, Pwintbyu Township, Magway Region yesterday.
At the event, Colonel Kyaw Htin clarified the purpose of the donation of school for Letpanwe Village. Then, Commander of Central Command Brigadier General Ko Ko Oo donated furnitures to the school and handed over the documents related to the new school building to headmaster of the school.
Afterwards, staff officer of Magway Region Education Department U Soe Lwin presented certificate of honor to Commander of Central Command Brigadier General Ko Ko Oo and spoke words of thanks on behalf of local people and students to him.
The new school building measuring 120 feet in length and 30 feet in height was built by spending K 89.0 million.
