An event to donate cash and kind to flood victims from Sha Du Zut Village in Phakant, Kachin State was held at a monastery in the village.
    

On the occasion, departmental staff led by Kachin State Minister for Security and Border Affairs Col Nay Lin Tun presented relief supplies to the flood victims. The Kachin State Minister and party handed over lifejackets, K 3,555,500 for buying rice and construction materials, masks and soaps provided by the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, K 10.5 million and 150 bags of rice donated by the township administrative body and gem entrepreneurs association, nutritious powder and biscuits furnished by WFP and Myanmar Red Cross Society.
    

Also present on the occasion were Director of the Kachin State Red Cross Society U Zaw Win Tun, Director of the Kachin State Department of Disaster Management Daw Hla Kathi Mar and concerned officials.
