An event to donate cash assistance for purchasing rice for flood victims was held at a monastery in Ward-2, TadaU Township in Mandalay Region this morning.
    

At the ceremony, Mandalay Region MPs U Min Min Ni and U Wunna Aung gave speeches and Township Administrator U Hla Win Aung explained the aim of cash assistance. Next, the lawmakers and township administrator handed over cash provided by the Department of Disaster Management to the flood victims.
    

A total of 149 people from 42 households became relocated due to the floodwaters from the Ayeyawady and Dokhtawady Rivers and they were furnished with Ks. 2100 each.
