Due to the torrential rain in Tanai Township, Myitkyina District, Kachin State, water entered into some houses in low-lying areas in the township. 

Heavy rain inundated the Tanai-Mongkhun road in Gyosadi village and the traffic was temporarily suspended. In addition, water entered into a total of 191 houses in the township. Accordingly, officials from Township Management Committee, departmental personnel and social organizations provided drinking water and instant noodles to the flood victims yesterday. 

The water level of Tanai Creek in Tanai Township, Kachin State reached 20 feet and 3 inches and its danger level is below 21 feet.
