A ceremony to provide cash aid to Shan State Food Supply Committee was held at the meeting room of Shan State Food Supply Committee in the town of Taunggyi, Shan State yesterday. 

Also present on the occasion were Shan State Chief Minister Dr. Lin Htut, Minister for the state Security and Border affairs Colonel Hla Oo, speaker of Shan State Hluttaw U Sai Lone Saing, Shan State Attorney General U Tin Oo, Secretary of Shan State Government U Nay Lin, Departmental officials, Patron of Kanbawza Bank U Aung Ko Win, Senior Managing Director U Nyo Myint of Kanbawza Group and staff and members of Shan State Food Supply Committee.

At the event, Senior Managing Director of Kanbawza Group U Nyo Myint delivered a speech and clarified the purpose of the provision of cash aid for Shan State Food Supply Committee. Afterwards, Patron of KBZ Bank U Aung Ko Win handed over K 500.0 million to the Committee. Shan State CM Dr. Lin Htut, Speaker of Shan State Hluttaw U Sai Lone Saing and members of the state government accepted cash aid. Afterwards, CM Dr. Lin Htut spoke words of thanks to officials form Kanbawza Banks.

Kanbawza Bank donated a total of K 1500.0 million to Shan State Food Supply Committee and the provision of this cash aid is the third of its kind in the state, according to vice chairman of Shan State Food Supply Committee U Thura Saw Thein.
