The township Women’s Affairs Association and Maternal and child welfare association provided relief supply and cash aid to elderly people and person with disabilities at the Internal Displaced Person (IDP) camps in Chiphwe Township, Myitkyina District, Kachin State yesterday.

Chairperson of the township Women’s Affairs Association and Maternal and Child Welfare Association Daw Wint War Aung and members provided relief supply such as cooking oil, salt, alcohol spray, nutritious food and cash aid to senior citizens in two IDP camps in Chiphwe Township.

Afterwards, Daw Wint War Aung and members provided free medical check-ups, treatments and necessary health care to elderly persons with disabilities in the IDP camps in the Township.
