A ceremony to provide financial assistance to unemployed people and those who have no regular income was held at the town hall in Mawlaik, Sagaing Region this morning.

At the event, Chairman of the township level committee on COVID-19 control, prevention and treatment U Nyi Nyi Lwin delivered an opening speech and clarified the purpose of the provision of cash aid to local people who have no regular income amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic in the township.

Under this food supply program, 4098 households in the township received K 20000 each. 

Officials from the township level committee on COVID-19 control, prevention and treatment will continue to provide cash aid to the needy people in the remaining villages and wards in the township.
