An event to provide cash assistance to flood victims whose homes were damaged by floodwaters from the Ayeyawady River was held in the town of Shwegu, Kachin State this morning. The provision of relief supply is the 2nd of its kind in the township.

The township Administrator U Toe Toe Win provided rice, drinking water and hand gel to flood victims in Ward-2, Ward-3, and Ward-4 in the town of Shwegu. 

Then, officials from the township Department of Disaster Management provided 144 pieces of facial masks, 33 soaps, rice and cash aid to 144 flood victims in Shwegu Township.
