A collective tree-planting ceremony was held at BEPS-2 in Pazundaung Township, Yagon Region yesterday.

The event was jointly organized by the township General Administration Department and the district Forest Department.

With the aim of keeping the environment green, maintaining soil and temperature, the township Administrator U Chan Nyein Aung, staff from the Township Forest Department, departmental officials, members of the township Women’s Affairs Association and Maternal and Child Welfare Association participated in the activity and planted 100 saplings including Pingadon, Padauk and Khaya at the compound of BEPS -2 in Pazudaung Township, Yangon Region.—Nay Chi, IPRD
