Free health care services were provided to flood victims in Pauk Myaing village-tract in Tada-U Township, Kyaukse District, Mandalay Region at a monastery in the village this morning.

A medical team led by Township Medical Officer Dr. Myint Oo gave health care treatment to over 100 flood affected people in the village. Then the medical staff conducted health awareness discussion and distributed masks to the flood victims.

MP U Wunna Aung of Regional Hluttaw, Township Administrator U Hla Win Aung and officials inspected the flood affected areas and arranged to survey the list of damaged crops and flood affected acres of farmland. 

In the village-tract, there are a total of 584 flood affected people from 147 households and health care activities will be conducted in Htaukyit, Myayngue and Latsaungyu village-tracts, according to Deputy Township Administrator U Thiha Aung.
