Nay Pyi Taw Council Member U Aye Maung Sein and officials from Irrigation and Water Utilization Management Department inspected the strength of Paunglaung Dam, Chaung Ma Nge Dam and Phaung Laung Dam in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area on Saturday. 

Director of Construction No.5 U Ko Ko Naing reported on the conditions of the dams, storage of water in the dam and distribution of water for monsoon paddy cultivation to the officials during the inspection. 

The department is monitoring dams for safety and for irrigating for both monsoon paddy and summer paddy cultivations.
