A ceremony to provide financial aid to the unemployed people and those who have no regular income amid the outbreak of COVID-19 was held at the meeting room of the town General Administration Department in Leiktho, Thandaunggyi Township, Hpa-an District, Kayin State yesterday.

First of all, the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Saw J A Win Myint and the township Administrator U Saw Myat Kyaw delivered speeches and handed over cash aid to concerned village administrators.

Under this cash aid program, 360 families in the township received K 20000 each. The Pyithu Hluttaw Representative, the township Administrator and village Administrators will continue to provide cash aid to the remaining 7936 families who have no regular income amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic in the township.
