A ceremony to donate food supplies to displaced people took place at a religious building in a camp for internally displaced people in Myainggyingu Area, Hlaiingbwe Township in Kayin State yesterday.
    

At the ceremony, a local social organization named “Local Resource Center (LRC) contributed food supplies such as rice, cooking oil, and iodized salt to 5271 IDPs from 620 households in the area. In addition, a day meal was also supplied to the IDPs. 
    

The donation is aimed at facilitating the IDPs who face hardship amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and providing them with nutritious food.
