Officials presented cash aid provided by the government amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic to the unemployed people and those who have no regular income in Laukkai Township, the Kokang Self-Administered Zone, Shan State (North) this morning.

The township deputy Administrator U Thet Zaw Naing and staff, firefighters from the township Fire Services Department and staff from the township Department of Social Welfare provided cash aid to people who have no regular income in the township.

Under this cash aid program, 1336 families from villages and wards in the township received K 20000 each.
