Budalin, 29 July

A collective tree-planting ceremony took place in people playground in Budalin Township, Sagaing Region this morning. The event was organized by the township Forest Department in cooperation with residents. 

With the aim of keeping the environment green, maintaining soil and temperature, Chairman of the township management committee U Kyaw Moe Lwin, departmental officials, staff officer of the township Forest Department, Chairperson of the township maternal and child welfare association Daw Htike Su Kyi and members, members of the township Women’s Affairs Association and members of social organization participated the activity and grew 500 saplings including Teaks, Tamalan and Seinpan.
