The township Department of Disaster Management provided cash aid to people whose home was damaged by strong winds in Phayani Village in Thabaung Township, Pathein District, Ayeyawady Region yesterday.

Personnel from the township Department of Disaster Management handed over a total of K 104200 including K 100000 for building materials and K 4200 for rice and a rescue kit box with 17 items to victims of strong winds in the village.

Powerful winds hit Phayani Village in Thabaung Township on 24 July and damaged a house.
