With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans for emerald green project were dispensed to members of village emerald green project committee at the Dhamayone of Intaw/Nyaungdon Village in Budalin Township, Sagaing Region yesterday. The disbursement of loans is the sixth of its kind in the village.

First, staff officer of the township Department of Rural Development Daw May Mun Mun gave a speech and clarified the purposes of the project.

Then, Daw May Mun Mun handed over K 57.00 million to members of village emerald green project committee in the village.

Similarly, staff from the township DRD also disbursed K 45.9 to members of village emerald green project committee at the Dhamayone of Kanthit (North) Village in Budalin Township.
