58 Myanmar citizens who served prison term in Thailand for breaching offenses came back home from Thailand through No.2 Friendship Bridge in Tachilek, Shan State on July 31 morning.
The returnees were welcomed by Deputy Commissioner U Myint Naing and concerned officials. Upon their arrival at the border checkpoint, the returnees were conducted medical checkups and got temperature check by health officials. Medical examination for swab from the returnees may take five days or one week. They were quarantined at a religious edifice and foodstuff is supplied by well-wishers.
The returnees were quarantined at Mogok Dhamma Yeiktha for 11 days and were transferred to their homes across the country.
