Kyunsu 4 August

The powerful winds hit Kyunsu Township, Myeik District on 2 August destroyed some buildings and houses, according to Township General Administration Department.

Due to the winds, a religious building and a departmental building in Ward-1 were destroyed. A departmental building in Ward-2, a self-reliant school in Mingoak, two houses in Kapa village-tract, two houses in Tawpya village-tract, a house in Yekantaung village-tract, 13 houses in Kamgyi village-tract, three houses in Maaing village-tract, three houses in Sakhanthit village-tract and a religious building in Bannane village-tract were also destroyed. 

Township authorities, members of Fire Services Department and social organizations helped the victims to evacuate to their relatives.
