An event to present certificates of honour to the volunteers and a funeral service was held at Kyun Yadanar Hall in Kyunsu Township, Taninthayi Region on August 4.

First, Township Administrator U Kyaw Htay delivered an address. Next, the township administrator and concerned officials presented certificates of honour signed by State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi to volunteers who partook in the fight against coronavirus and gave a helping hand to those who were quarantined at community based facility quarantine.

33 community based facility quarantine centers have been set up in Kyunsu Township. In addition, there are 241 volunteers and 19 funeral services in Kyunsu Township.—Sithu Ya Aung (Kyunsu)
