A ceremony to donate medical equipment to be used in combating against Covid-19 pandemic took place at the hall of township Department of Disaster Management in Mohnyin, Kachin State yesterday morning.
    

On the occasion, a representative from Irrawaddy Green Towers Ltd explained the purpose of donation and contributed medical items such as facial masks, hand gloves, infrared thermometers and hand sanitizer to an official from the Department of Disaster Management who spoke words of thanks.
    

“These medical supplies would be redistributed to displaced people taking shelter at IDP camps in the township,” the DDM official said. Irrawaddy Green Towers Ltd donated medical items for the third time. The company contributed medical equipment to needy people in Thandwe Township in Rakhine State and Tachilek Township in Eastern Shan State.
    

The firm is planned to donate similar equipment to the Central Institute of Civil Service (Phaunggyi) and those needy people from Chin State.—Kyaw Kyaw Htwe (IPRD)
