Employees from the Department of Disaster Management under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement provided relief supplies to storm victims from Kyushaw Village, Kyaukme Township in Northern Shan State yesterday morning.
    

Some people from six households became disaster victims after their homes were flipped over by gusty winds on August 3. Relief items such as shelter kits, family kits, latrine pans and soaps for the storm victims were donated by the DDM, Relief International, UNICEF and Myitta Development Foundation (Lashio).
    

Staff from the DDM presented K 197,100 for buying rice and relief items to the storm victims on behalf of the donors.
