The local police arrested 15 men for allegedly betting on a cockfight in Muse Township, Northern Shan State on August 22.
    

Based on anonymous tipoff, policemen from Muse Myoma police station together with eye witnesses went to a location where a cockfight took place. They captured 15 men including Tom Thar Lian from Honar Ward, Muse, in connection with betting on a cockfight.
    

The police also seized four cocks, 11 different types of motorcycles, and over K 1.8 million of different notes at the scene. The cockfight bettors have been charged under the Myanmar Gambling Law by the local police station.
