A ceremony to honor outstanding matriculation students who passed in 2020 matriculation examination and teachers who instructed the students to pass 2020 matriculation examination with distinctions was held at the hall of Thanlwin in the town of Kunlong, Shan State (North) this morning.

First of all, Minister for Social Welfare Dr. Myo Tun and deputy director of the state Education officer’s office U Khin Maung Htay delivered speeches. This was followed by the presentation of 200 dozens of note books to the students in the township by Dr. Myo Tun. Then, well-wishers also present two set of computers worth K 1.6 million to the school.

Next, officials presented certificates of honor to outstanding student who pass in 2019-2020 academic year matriculation examination. Out of 201 students who sat for 2019-2020 academic years matriculation exam, 47 students passed the exam in the township.
