Pyay 1 September

A rural electrification facility was launched in Taunggone village in Ngaywa village-tract in Pyay Township on 31 August. 

Under the National Electrification Project (NEP), a 200 KVA transformer and 11 KV power line installations in the village were also undertaken in 2019-2020 FY. 

The launching ceremony was graced by MPs of Township Hluttaw, officials from the Ministry of Electricity and Energy and members of village electrification committee. In Pyay Township, rural electrification projects are being implemented in seven villages including Taunggone village.
