Mongsat 1 September

Cash assistance will be provided to a total of 273 elderly people in Mongsat and Mongton Townships in Mongsat District, Shan State (East), according to an official from District Department of Social Welfare. 

The elderly people aged 80 years old and under 85 years will be provided with one-time-allowance, K 30,000 and the elderly over 85 years old will be provided with social pension at a rate of K 10,000 per month. The cash assistance will be provided to the elderly between the first week and second week of September. 

In Mongsat District, there are 163 elderly people between 80 years old and under 85 years old and there are also 109 elderly people over 85 years old.
