Two houses and one motorbike were burnt to ashes in a fire in Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region, the Ministry of Home Affairs said on Tuesday.
    

The fire broke out at about 6:35 p.m. on August 27 when a person with mental illness identified as U Cho Win set fire on his own house in Botegon Village in Wetlet Township. Firefighters from local fire stations rushed to the scene of fire and completely put out the flame with the use of three fire engines in 40 minutes.
    

The blaze engulfed two homes and one motorbike and the house owner is being taken action over fire negligence by the local police.
