Yangon, 3 September

Under the guidance of Ministry of Health and Sports, medical staff from the township Department of Health conducted a mass immunization campaign at the office of ward-3 Administrator in South Okkalap Township, Yangon Region this morning.

Medical staff injected and dosed children below one year old with vaccination against various diseases such as hepatitis B, Polio, BCG, PCV, measles and diphtheria in accordance with the rules released by the Ministry of Health and Sports amid the outbreak of COVID-19.

With the aim of improving health of pregnant women, medical staff from the township DoH also shared knowledge about health.
