Leiktho, 4 September

A collective tree-planting activity took place in Kyaunggon Village in Leiktho sub-Township, Kayin State yesterday.

With the aim of keeping the environment green, maintaining soil and temperature, members of social organizations from Leiktho and locals participated in the activity and jointly grew 120 saplings including teak, pingadon, Yaemane in accordance with the rules released by Ministry of Health and Sports.

The sapling were donated by Food Security Working Group (FSWG).
