Local authorities looked into progress of developmental tasks in Kyaunggon Township, Ayeyawady Region yesterday evening.
    

A group of local officials consisting of lawmakers, members of the township construction committee and village elders inspected construction of a rural road. The road measuring one mile in length, 12 ft. in width and 7 inch in thick is being built at a cost of K 254 million.
    

They also oversaw construction of a rural bridge measuring 14 ft. long and 20 ft. wide. Officials called for the safety in the work site of bridge which is under construction by a private company by spending K 29 million.
