The township Department of Social Welfare provided cash aid to person with disabilities in Bogale Township, Pyapon District, Ayeyarwady Region this morning on a door to door basis.

Under this cash aid program, 156 disabilities from ten wards in the town received K 30000 each. Also present on the occasion were staff officer of the township Department of Social Welfare Naw Cherry Shwe, Deputy Administrator U Ye Lin Htet, Hluttaw Representatives, members of Maternal and Child Welfare Association and Women’s Affairs Association and village Administrators.

There are 1603 disabilities in Bogale Township. Other person with disabilities in the remaining villages in the township will be provided with cash aids via respective village-tract administrators, according to the township General Administration Department.
