A ceremony to add fingerlings to Daka River in Kyaungkone Township, Ayeywady Region was held this morning.

With the aim of increasing fish resources and promoting fish production, the Department of Fisheries are releasing fingerlings into natural ponds, creeks and rivers across the nation. 

At the ceremony, Township Administrator, officials from District and Township Departments of Fisheries, departmental personnel released 450000 fish species of different kinds into Daka River.
