An event to present cash assistance provided by the government amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic to grass roots was held at the meeting room of General Administration Department in Yenangyaung, Magway Region this afternoon.

At the event, the township deputy Administrator U Aung Kyaw Lin clarified the purpose of the cash aid for local people who have low income amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic and handed over K 325.24 million to respective village Administrators.

Under this cash aid program, 16262 households from 34 wards and villages in the township will receive K 20000 each.—Ko Soe Kyi, IPRD
