Authorities accepted 11 returnees from Bangladesh at the Nga Khu Ya Reception Centre and transported to their place of origin yesterday.
The authorities of the centre documented the eleven people from two families who returned on their own volition at 9:30 am, and provided them with medical check-ups and aid. The process of the accepting returnees ended at noon. They were transported to Hla Phoe Khaung Transit Centre by a team led by U Htay Maung, Deputy Director of the Nga Kyu Ya Centre. The authorities of the transit centre presented food including rice, cooking oil, salt, beans and kitchen utensils to the returnees.
