Ywangan, 26 November
12 people were injured as a speeding Hilux overturned after hitting a rock wall in Ywangan Township, Southern Shan State, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The accident took place at an inter-village village when a Hilux with 12 men no board driven by a man identified as U Ba Yin, 56 years old crashed into a rock wall and flipped over after the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle was heading to Ywangan from Pindaya. Three people including the driver were severely hurt and nine others sustained minor injuries in the incident.
The injured people were transferred to a public hospital in Ywangan and the driver is being questioned over reckless driving by the local police.—MOHA
