Local police seized 1200 stimulant tablets in the town of Kalaw, Shan state (South) yesterday afternoon.
Local police officers together with witnesses searched the house of a man named Soe Aung (a) Sai Aung in ward-7, Kalaw town. The police met Soe Aung in his house and confiscated six packets of stimulant tablets, each packet containing 200 tablets, in a shoulder bag carried over his shoulder.
The police pressed drug charges against the man for dealing in stimulant tablets, according to Kalaw township police station.—township IPRD
