14 people were injured after a passenger bus overturned on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway in DaikU Township, Bago Region on 4 November.
The accident occurred when a passenger bus with 32 people on board hit concrete median strip and flipped over after the sleepy driver lost control of the vehicle. The passenger bus driven by a man identified as Sithu (alias) Sithu Soe, 30 years old was heading to Yangon from Nay Pyi Taw. 14 people were hurt in the incident and the injured people were transferred to a nearby rural hospital.
Among the injured people, one man sustained severe injuries to his face and shoulder. The driver of passenger bus is being questioned over reckless driving by the local police.
