14 rural development projects completed 100% in Meiktila Township

Construction of concrete paving works of roads in 14 villages in Meiktila Township, Mandalay Region have been implemented since the second week of June, 2023 and now, all the projects have been completed 100 percent, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.

A total of 14 concrete paving works of roads in the entrance of the villages and in the villages in the Township have been constructed with K 279.41 million including K 210 million of VDP’s funds and K 69.4 million contributed by local people and now, all the projects were completed 100 percent.

The roads benefit local people from 14 villages including Paukbintha, Seywar, Ledaw, Thetkekyin, Monbinse, Kan-Oo Sanpya, Kyeikpale, Kyakan, Kokkopin, Segon, Kyosu, Yengan,(East), Htanaung Oint and Thayettan  in the Township, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner.—U Than Lwin (DRD)
