16 COVID-19 positive patients being treated at the Traditional Medicine Hospital and Public Rental Housing (Eikesut) in the town of Kalay, Sagaing Region were discharged from the hospital yesterday. 

The COVID-19 patients discharged from the hospital have been identified as a man and two women from Nyaungbinthar Ward-5, a man from Chanmyeaungsi Ward-12, a man from Aungmyeman Ward-8, a woman from Thazin Ward-4, two men and a woman from Aungthitsar Ward-8, three women from Aungyeya Ward-4 and two men and two women from Pinlon Ward-6 in the town of Kalay.

Officials from Department of Health presented health certificates and urged them to abide by the rules issued by the Ministry of Health and Sports amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. 

Currently, a total of 33 confirmed COVID-19 positive patients are receiving medical treatment in the town of Kalay, Sagaing Region.
